Yoga with Myofascial Release

Sunday, April 27, 2025. 4:30 - 6:00 pm. $25. Improve your Yoga practice by learning how to release fascial tension. Are you experiencing stiff, sore muscles with limited mobility? Fascia is the flexible connective tissue that surrounds every structure in your body, including muscles, bones, joints and nerves. When fascia is healthy, it allows smooth movements. However, injury or stress can cause fascia to tighten and become rigid, which can restrict movement and cause pain. Myofascial release can alleviate discomfort and ease the underlying tension stored in the body's connective and soft tissues; and is also a powerful tool for self care and holistic healing. Healthy fascia contributes to increased mobility as well as fluid movement and flexibility - perfect to support your Yoga practice! Join Cindy for a very special class in which you will practice a certain Yoga posture, then use Myofascial techniques to release tension that may arise in that posture and then return to the Yoga posture to experience it with more ease. This sequence will be used for a variety of Yoga poses. All levels are welcome, no experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and try something new! Class led by Cindy Cicchetto.
