With Sound Bowls

Sunday May 5, 2024. 5:00-6:15 pm. $25. Join us for a beautiful yoga evening of rejuvenation. Class led by Yoga Haven teacher MaryJo Casey with Terri Kowalski playing the bowls. Learn more about Terri Kowalski: As a massage therapist I was always drawn to a class by Johnathan Goldman about sound. My journey in sound began there while witnessing the power of sound through voice, singing bowls and tuning forks. It took me on a journey with various teachers discovering my voice, crystal singing bowls and Tibetan singing bowls. My joy is sharing what I have learned and experienced with others who are curious.

Align the Body & Attune to Divine Energy

Sunday June 9th, 2024. 3:00 – 4:15 pm. $20. Ever wonder why you just can’t get comfortable in certain Yoga poses? Find out why as we explore how to find the best physical alignment for your unique body. Then your practice will naturally deepen and your attunement with Divine Energy will increase. The word Yoga means union and the overarching goal of Yoga is union with Divine Energy. Straining or having difficulty with the physical aspect of Yoga is a distraction from your connection with this Divine Energy. Join us for a Yoga class in which you will deepen your physical practice through improved alignment of your bones and joints. We will focus on 14 specific poses found in many Yoga classes. This leads to a safer practice in which you can grow beyond your current abilities while lowering the risk of injury. Even more importantly, once you are more stable and centered in your physical practice, your connection with Divine Energy will gradually open and lead to a deeper sense of blissful union - Yoga!
