Relax & Renew with Yin / Yoga Nidra

Sunday June 7, 2026. 4:00 - 5:20 pm. $25. This special event is approximately 40 minutes of Yin Yoga practice, followed by 40 minutes of Yoga Nidra. Yin Yoga is an all-level, low, slow, and deep asana yoga practice that targets the connective tissues in the body. With the support of props, postures are held for a few minutes, giving time for your body to ease and soften. Yin Yoga leaves your body and nervous system in a relaxed state, preparing your body for meditative practice. Modifications and props will be provided. Relaxed from the Yin Yoga, you will be ready to experience Yoga Nidra – a powerful practice of conscious relaxation that allows your body to rest while your mind gently unwinds. As you lie on your mat or sit comfortably, you will be guided through specific stages of relaxation and meditation. You will be guided on an image and sensation rich experience known as a “journey” designed to take you into a deeper and sustained period of meditation. The content of the script is a unique creation by the teacher. Class led by Scarlet Detjen.
